During the festival Internazionale a Ferrara 2012, NADiRinforma meets Maryam Al- Khawaja, an activist for human rights in Bahrein and deputy president of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights and the Gulf Center for Human Rights, and Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi, a journalist who lives in the Emirates and who is counted amongst the most authoritative voices on Twitter concerning Middle East affairs. We discuss the present and future condition of the so-called Arab Spring, focusing on key-countries such as Egypt and on themes less discussed, such as the influence of regional actors on these various movements.
